A lovely assortment of vintage Hazel-Atlas Moderntone Platonite dinnerware in warm peach tones, this eight-piece group includes three coffee cups, three matching saucers, one berry bowl, and one bread plate. The pieces display noticeable variations in color saturation, ranging from lighter creamy peach to deeper peach and apricot shades, giving the collection the characteristic appearance of vintage colored Platonite glass.
Hazel-Atlas produced Moderntone as one of its recognizable mid-century tableware lines. These pieces are made from opaque Platonite glass with a glossy colored finish and the clean, streamlined shapes associated with Moderntone dinnerware. The underside bears the recognizable Hazel-Atlas maker's mark.
