CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with substantial natural patina, tarnish, age spots, surface variation and areas of verdigris to the brass. The mother-of-pearl inlay remains beautifully luminous with the natural color and surface variations characteristic of shell. These candlesticks have intentionally NOT been aggressively polished; their aged surface is an important part of their vintage character. Please examine all photographs closely for the exact condition and appearance of each piece.
The contrast is particularly striking: warm, deeply aged brass against the soft ivory and pearlescent shimmer of natural shell. Depending upon the light and viewing angle, the inlay moves through shades of cream, ivory and subtle iridescence.
The underside of each is marked “India.” No maker's mark has been identified.

Sold as the pair of two candlesticks. Candles and decorative accessories shown in the staged photograph are not included.
