About Needlework Farmhouse
Beautiful Things Deserve Another Chapter
I’m Amy, the woman behind Needlework Farmhouse. After a serious cancer diagnosis led me to retire earlier than I had planned, life became a little quieter—and, in many ways, more intentional. Today I run Needlework Farmhouse from our nine-acre family farm in Greeneville, Tennessee.
I’ve always had an appreciation for old things—the craftsmanship, history and quiet beauty that make a home feel collected rather than simply decorated. Here on the farm, I research, photograph, prepare and carefully pack the vintage and antique pieces you find in the shop.
Needlework Farmhouse is a small, independent business. There’s no warehouse and no large staff behind the scenes. Every object is chosen and handled individually, and every one has to earn its place here.
The shop is built around a simple belief: beautiful things deserve another chapter, and the most meaningful homes are collected slowly, one remarkable object at a time.
Perhaps that is part of why I’m drawn to old things. I believe there is tremendous beauty in what comes next—in preserving what matters, appreciating what has endured, and giving beautiful things another chapter.
I seek out vintage needlework, antique lighting, heirloom textiles, primitive farmhouse decor, china and pottery, glassware and beautifully aged household pieces that possess something new objects cannot imitate—craftsmanship, character and a history of their own.
Curated, Never Accumulated
Nothing is chosen simply because it is old. Every piece must earn its place here through beauty, quality, usefulness, rarity or exceptional character. I look for the details that make an object worth living with: the glow of an antique lamp, the quiet intricacy of hand-worked linen, the patina of time-worn metal, the artistry of a sampler, or the familiar elegance of china gathered around a table.
Needlework has a particularly special place at the heart of the shop. Alongside finished samplers and handmade textiles, you’ll find carefully preserved patterns, kits, specialty threads and discontinued designs chosen for stitchers who appreciate both the pleasure of making and the value of preserving traditional handwork.
From Our Farm in East Tennessee
Needlework Farmhouse is 100% American owned and operated, and every item offered in the shop is sourced within the United States. Because our inventory includes vintage and antique objects, individual pieces may have been originally made in other countries.
But the business itself is rooted here on our family farm in Greeneville. This is where each piece is studied, photographed, prepared and packed before beginning the next chapter of its story.
The Standard Behind Every Piece
I work hard to ensure that the items I offer are clean, carefully inspected and worthy of their next home. Each piece is researched, photographed honestly and described in detail, including the signs of age that naturally belong to vintage and antique objects. I would rather explain an imperfection clearly than allow a buyer to discover it unexpectedly.
Every order is then thoughtfully packaged with the care its materials, age and journey require.
Curated Objects of Enduring Beauty
Needlework Farmhouse is not about filling a room. It is about finding the piece that gives a room its soul—the object that catches your eye, invites a closer look and feels as though it has always belonged.
Thank you for visiting. I hope you discover something beautiful here and give it the next chapter of its story.
