CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or other damage observed. The floral decoration remains crisp and colorful, and the gold-trimmed scalloped edge presents beautifully. This is an exceptionally well-preserved example of vintage Syracuse China. As with all genuine vintage tableware, minor evidence of age or previous use may be present and should not be considered equivalent to newly manufactured merchandise. Temple Bells combines a warm ivory-toned ground with an intricate botanical design of graceful foliage and distinctive yellow bell-shaped flowers accented by touches of green, blue and orange. A delicate coordinating floral border follows the perimeter, while the scalloped rim is finished with gold trim. The result is sophisticated without being overly formal—a wonderful example of the decorative dinnerware Syracuse produced during the mid-20th century.
