CONDITION: Exceptional vintage condition. Both bowls retain beautiful glossy finishes with remarkably strong, crisp Butterfly Gold decoration. The interiors are exceptionally clean, with no chips, cracks, staining or significant scratching observed. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. These are genuine vintage kitchenware pieces approximately 50 years old, and normal minute evidence of age or previous use should be expected rather than the appearance of newly manufactured glassware.
A beautiful matched pair of original Pyrex Butterfly Gold mixing bowls, including the smaller #401 gold bowl and the coordinating #402 white bowl. Produced during the original 1970s Butterfly Gold era, these two consecutive sizes create the classic alternating gold-and-white combination that made this pattern one of Pyrex's most recognizable vintage kitchen designs.
The two bowls nest together for storage and also display beautifully as a coordinated pair. They are equally suited to a vintage Pyrex collection, retro kitchen display or continued careful use.
