CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition with genuine evidence of age and previous use. The brass has developed a warm, naturally aged patina with scattered tarnish, spotting, color variation and minor surface marks. The deep red faux-marble column inserts remain glossy and visually striking, with their darker marbled veining intact. The protective felt on the underside of one candlestick shows considerable wear and loss around the perimeter; the felt on the other is substantially more intact. Both retain their small original “MADE IN TAIWAN R.O.C.” foil labels. Please review all photographs closely for the exact condition and naturally developed surface of the pair.
The faux-marble finish is especially attractive. Rich shades of red, burgundy and oxblood are crossed by darker irregular veining, creating depth and movement against the subdued gold of the aged brass. The glossy columns provide an elegant contrast to the softly patinated metal.
