The Sunfire Afghan is a striking vintage hand-crocheted blanket distinguished by its unusually graphic geometric construction and saturated palette of brilliant yellow, scarlet red, mustard gold and black. Measuring approximately 70" × 54" excluding the fringe, this substantial afghan has the scale and visual presence to transform a sofa, chair or bed into a distinctly retro focal point.
Rather than the familiar granny-square or chevron construction seen in many vintage crochet blankets, this example is worked in long repeating geometric bands.
