CONDITION
This original watercolor is in good antique or vintage condition, with visible age-related characteristics consistent with an older work on paper.
The painting exhibits surface texture and irregularities, including raised or rippled areas along the right edge, visible in the detailed photographs. The reverse shows adhesive staining around the perimeter from previous mounting.
The artwork was acquired framed and carefully removed from its frame and matting for close examination. This inspection confirmed that the image is an original hand-painted watercolor rather than a printed reproduction.
The painting is unsigned. A handwritten notation resembling “#11” appears on the reverse of the artwork. A separate handwritten “#14” appears on the interior framing material. The significance of these markings is unknown.
