Monumental American Art Nouveau chandelier shade with richly marbled bent opalescent glass, sculpted cast-metal overlay, pierced crown and exceptional architectural presence. At nearly two feet across and over 20 lb., it was made to command a room.
Measurements: Approx. 23" diameter × 13" high; 9" top opening; over 20 lb.
Estimated circa: 1908–1920. American; unmarked.
Attribution: Construction and decorative vocabulary are consistent with high-quality early American architectural lighting. Possible makers include Charles Parker, Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass, Bradley & Hubbard or another leading period manufacturer; no definitive maker attribution is made without a mark.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Bent opalescent glass is exceptionally well preserved; no obvious replacement panels or significant structural damage were observed. Metal retains its aged patina.
Ideal as statement lighting above a dining table or in an Arts & Crafts, lodge, historic or collected interior.
