Founders’ Fire Pearl #3 Collection is a curated set of Weeks Dye Works Pearl Cotton #3 flosses in rich, traditional red tones inspired by early Americana, antique samplers, and hearthside stitching. Pearl #3 is a thick, non-divisible cotton thread valued for its bold texture and strong stitch definition. It is ideal for decorative embroidery stitches such as chain, stem, satin, and feather stitch, as well as sampler lettering, borders, wool appliqué, primitive stitching, and folk-art designs where raised detail and saturated color are desired.
I am a needlework artist, and all flosses offered are brand new from the factory. These were originally purchased for my needlework shop, which I closed in 2013. Since purchasing, they have been carefully stored in floss-friendly storage boxes in a climate-controlled crafter’s room and have never been exposed to daylight.
