Make a statement with this beautiful antique brass electric oil lamp featuring an exceptional hand-painted opal glass shade. Originally manufactured as an oil lamp around the turn of the twentieth century, this lamp has been professionally converted to electricity while retaining its original brass burner gallery and wick adjustment key.
The highlight of this lamp is the impressive panoramic hand-painted opal glass shade depicting charming English village scenes complete with Tudor architecture, horse-drawn carriages, villagers, churches, and rolling countryside. When illuminated, the creamy opal glass creates a warm glow that beautifully showcases the detailed artwork from every angle.

Condition: Very good antique condition.
The brass metal retains a beautiful aged patina and has not been over-polished. The hand-painted shade remains vibrant with no visible cracks. There are a few small flea bites and minor paint wear around the fitter rim that are consistent with age and normal use. The lamp has been converted from oil to electric and is fully functional. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.
