** CONDITION ** This vintage bedspread has scattered brown age-related spots and staining across the white ground, as shown clearly in the photographs, as well as one larger, darker stained area. The bedspread has been washed, but these areas did not come out and should be considered permanent unless a future owner successfully treats them. Despite the staining, the chenille itself presents beautifully, with remarkably vibrant color, strong dimensional tufting and tremendous visual impact. Please enlarge and review every photograph carefully before purchasing, as the photographs form an important part of the condition disclosure.
The centerpiece is an enormous lavender and purple peacock spreading its elaborate tail across the bed. Individual feathers are worked in vivid lavender, green, yellow, red and black, producing an unusually bold and dimensional design against the predominantly white ground.
