Substantial in both scale and presence, this vintage Oneida Augustina crystal serving tray is an especially beautiful example of the discontinued German-made pattern. At approximately 13 inches long, this is a generously sized piece of vintage crystal serveware designed to command attention on a dining table, buffet or holiday dessert table.
The Augustina design combines a dramatic central starburst with deeply molded radiating details and an elaborate sculptural border. The elongated oval form rises gently at the sides, giving the piece more dimension than a conventional flat platter. Light catches along the patterned crystal edges particularly well, emphasizing the architectural quality of the design.
