CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The ornate gilt frames present beautifully with no notable damage observed. Artwork, matting and visible surfaces are clean and attractive. Each original paper backing has a small area of age-related discoloration/spotting that does not affect display. Please review photographs closely.
A striking matched pair of vintage Maurboa decorative prints featuring pitchers or ewers displayed within elaborate neoclassical washstands. One combines a dark pitcher with multicolor floral decoration, while the companion features a cream pitcher accented in cobalt blue and gold.
Each print is surrounded by a wide textured cream mat with a narrow gold border and finished in an ornate dimensional gilt frame. Their 11.5-inch square size gives the pair substantial decorative presence without requiring a large wall.
Measurements: Approximately 11.5" x 11.5" each overall.
Artist / Maker: Maurboa; printed signature and copyright symbol visible on each image.
Estimated Circa: Exact date unknown.
Ideal for Traditional, Neoclassical, Grandmillennial and French-inspired interiors. The pitcher-and-basin subject works beautifully in a powder room, dressing area or bedroom, while the classical design and gilt framing are equally appropriate for a living room, hallway or gallery wall.
The pair is offered together.
