CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The cup has slight wear along the lip and some age-related wear to the gilding. Please review the photographs closely for condition.
This vintage Inarco Japan demitasse cup and saucer is an especially charming example of 1960s Japanese export porcelain. The slender footed cup stands approximately 4" tall and features an allover yellow rose chintz pattern with soft green foliage, an ornate gilded handle, gold accents and a vivid yellow pedestal foot. The coordinating 5" saucer carries the same dense floral decoration and gold-trimmed edge.
Its tall, narrow silhouette makes this set particularly appealing for serving espresso or after-dinner coffee, while the exuberant floral pattern and sculptural pedestal form give it enough decorative presence to display in a china cabinet, coffee bar or collected kitchen.
Both pieces retain their original Inarco Japan foil labels.
Measurements:
Cup: Approximately 4" tall × 1.5" diameter
Saucer: Approximately 5" diameter
Maker: Inarco
Origin: Japan
Estimated Circa: 1960–1969
