Item Details, Condition & Measurements
Beautiful vintage hand embroidered floral LOVE sampler, professionally framed under glass in its original oak frame. The embroidered design spells the word "LOVE" using colorful flowers surrounding the printed "USA 20¢" from the classic Floral Love stamp design. The embroidery is exceptionally well executed with fine satin stitch, long-and-short stitch shading, and beautifully blended colors that remain vibrant today.
The reverse retains its original paper backing with a handwritten family inscription dated February 14, 1990, reading:
"Thank you Doug & Lynn. I'm giving it back because you are the only ones to take care of it for me. Love, Mom. 2-14-90."
This heartfelt note provides wonderful provenance and tells part of the story of this carefully preserved family keepsake.

Condition
The embroidered linen and stitching are in outstanding vintage condition with no visible stains, fading, pulled threads, or damage noted. Colors remain bright and crisp throughout the design.
The original oak frame displays light age-appropriate wear. The frame would benefit from securing two small areas with finishing nails or brads, as noted in the photographs. The original paper backing shows tears and edge wear consistent with age but has been intentionally left intact because it contains the original handwritten family inscription that accompanies the piece.
