CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with genuine age and previous use visible throughout. The brass retains a warm naturally developed patina with areas of tarnish, spotting, surface variation and verdigris, particularly around portions of the lower brass collars. The wood has a rich reddish-brown color with a warm glossy surface and minor age-related marks. The original-style dark felt remains on the undersides of the square bases and shows expected wear and lint from use. No aggressive polishing has been performed, allowing the aged character of the brass to remain intact. Please review all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.
Each candlestick begins with a substantial approximately 2.5-inch square brass base, rising through a shaped brass fitting into a long turned wood column. Additional brass fittings frame the wood at the top before terminating in broad, gently flared candle cups designed to hold taper candles.
