CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The black-painted solid wood sconces are exceptionally well preserved for their age, with only minor evidence of age and previous use. The solid brass candle cups retain their naturally aged finish with areas of patina, surface variation, fine marks and oxidation consistent with vintage brass. They have not been aggressively polished. Please examine all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description. Two NEW, unused 10-inch twisted metallic gold wax taper candles are included.
The contrast is what makes this pair so successful decoratively. Deep black wood creates a dramatic backdrop for the warm, naturally aged brass candle cups, and the included twisted metallic-gold taper candles carry that gold tone upward for a polished, finished presentation.
