Condition

Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear.

Expected wear includes paint loss, surface scratches, edge wear, staining, upholstery deterioration, and other signs of more than a century of use and display. These characteristics contribute significantly to its authenticity and antique appeal.

Please review all photographs carefully as they are considered part of the description.

Few decorative objects capture the warmth and nostalgia of an early American home quite like an original shoo-fly rocker. Once found in Victorian nurseries and family parlors, these beloved childhood treasures have become highly sought-after pieces of American folk art. The honest wear, original painted decoration, and surviving upholstery make this a wonderful example of late 19th-century craftsmanship and country charm.
