A charming matched pair of antique converted oil lamps featuring crisp white milk glass pedestal bases paired with beautiful aqua blue glass fonts. Their compact size makes them ideal as bedside or boudoir lamps, where the elegant proportions add vintage character without overwhelming a space. Originally manufactured as kerosene or oil lamps around the turn of the twentieth century, these lamps were professionally converted to electricity decades ago—a common practice that allowed beautiful antique lamps to continue being enjoyed as everyday lighting. Condition
Very good vintage condition.
Both lamps retain their original milk glass bases and attractive blue pressed glass fonts. The brass displays an attractive aged patina with light oxidation consistent with age. The electrical sockets appear to be vintage replacements and both lamps retain their cords.
No shades are included.
