The stoneware body retains its blue-gray speckled glaze, exposed cream-colored lower body, applied loop handle, ceramic wick holder, and wick. There are natural variations in the glaze, clay surface, coloration, and firing that are inherent to handmade pottery and contribute to the character of the piece. Please examine all photographs closely, particularly the base, handle attachments, rim, wick assembly, and glaze surfaces, as the photographs form an important part of the condition description.  There are no chips, cracks or damage.  The wick has been used and still has oil on it.
